What is MIG Welding?
MIG welding, which stands for Metal Inert Gas welding, is a popular method for joining metal pieces together. It involves using a welding gun that feeds a continuous wire electrode while shielding the area with a gas to prevent contamination. When the trigger is pulled, an electric arc forms between the wire and the metal, melting both and creating a strong weld as they cool and solidify.
